    [From Amami Airport]
    A bus stop (Time Table) is located in front of the entrance of the airport.
    • Take a bus bound for "Naze (Hotel West Court)" and get off at the "Hotel West Court" bus stop (approx. 60 min).
    • Take a bus bound for "Nijino-oka/Hiramatsu-kouen/Sato" and get off at the "Nagahama" bus stop.
    • 3 minuets by walk, go straight to the north on the street.

    [From Naze, Amami City]
    • There are many bus stops in the city, but it is easy to take a bus bound for "Nijino-oka/Hiramatsu-kouen/Sato" at the "Hotel West Court" bus stop, which is located at the entrance of the hotel, and get off at the "Nagahama" bus stop.
    • 3 minuets by walk, go straight to the north on the street.

優秀発表賞
(Best Presentation Awards)

  • 今大会では優秀発表賞を口頭発表とポスターの双方で設定します．複数のレフェリーによる厳正な審査を行います．
  • 同制度へエントリーする場合には，大会参加申し込みの際に所定欄にマークをお願いします．
  • 優秀発表賞にエントリーされた発表については，匿名の選考委員が審査にあたり，大会終了後に授賞者本人(原則として筆頭著者)宛に通知し，学会ウェブサイトとニューズレターで発表します．
  • 授賞者には賞状が授与されます．
  • The best presentation each in oral and poster category will be recognized on the basis of peer evaluation by multiple judges.
  • Please indicate on the registration form if you would like to be considered.
  • Presentations registered for the award will be reviewed by anonymous referees.
  • Winners will be informed after the meeting. The results will be announced in JASTE27 Web-Site and JASTE Newsletter. A certificate will be presented to the first-author of each winning paper from the Executive Committee of JASTE27.

公開シンポジウム Public Symposium (in Japanese)
奄美・沖縄のヒトと自然の歴史

日時:　2017年6月18日（日）　13:30〜16:30

会場:　奄美博物館（奄美市名瀬長浜町517）

趣旨：奄美・沖縄では文字のない先史時代から人々が生活を営んできましたから，現代の奄美・沖縄の生態系を明らかにするためにも主に考古学や人類学などのアプローチを使ったヒトの歴史の理解が必要となります．そこで本シンポジウムでは，まず「埋もれた奄美・沖縄の歴史」，すなわち考古学や人類学的研究によって得られた最新の情報を提供し，この地域の先史時代が大変ダイナミックなものであったことを紹介します．次に，奄美・沖縄諸島において重要であったあるいは重要な生業（雑穀利用とサンゴ礁域利用）に焦点を当てます．前者は近年「忘れられた生業」となっていますが，近い過去まで食生活の中で大きな役割を果たしました．また，後者についてはその資源を利用するために詳細な「海の地図」が漁師によって作られていました．本シンポジウムでは，このような「埋もれた奄美・沖縄の文化」についても紹介し，この地域の人々の生きる知恵について考察します．

発表に関する注意
(Presentation Guidlines)

    口頭発表
  • 発表時間は14分30秒（発表12分・質疑2分30秒），時間厳守です．発表者は，次の講演の座長を行ってください．
  • 会場ではWindows 8以降のバージョン，Power Point 2013が動作するパソコンを用意します．進行の妨げになるため，個人のパソコンの接続はお控えください．
  • 発表ファイル（推奨形式はppt，pptx，pdf）はUSBで持参して，当日のセッション開始前（午前と午後開始前）にパソコンにロードしてください．大会事務局では，アニメーションや動画の動作を保証しません．
  • 発表用のスライドのサイズ（縦横比）は4:3としてください．

    ポスター発表
  • ポスターは横120 cm×高さ180 cmに収まる大きさでご用意ください．A0サイズを推奨します．
  • ポスターを貼り付けるための画鋲等は実行委員会にて用意します．
  • ポスター展示可能時間は，6月17日（土）の9時から6月18日（日）の13時30分までです．コアタイムは，6月17日15時30分から16時30分です．著者はコアタイム中，ポスター前で待機してください．
    Oral Presentation
  • Each presenter is given 14.5 minutes (12 minutes for presentation and 2.5 minutes for questions and answers). Please keep to the presentation time. Each presenter is asked to moderate the following presentation.
  • Computers installed with versions after MS Windows 8 and Power Point 2013 will be provided by the Executive Committee. Please do not connect personally owned computers to save time.
  • Presentation files (we accept following formats; .ppt, .pptx, or .pdf) should be loaded to the computer before the session starts in the morning. The Executive Committee does not have responsibility for any troubles regarding the motion of animation and videos used in each presentation.
  • Format your PowerPoint slides in 4:3 format and not 16:9.

    Poster Presentation
  • Poster should not exceed 120 cm and 180 cm in width and height, respectively. A0 size is recommended.
  • Push pins will be provided for your convenience.
  • Poster can be exhibited from 9:00, June 17 to 13:30, June 18. Core time is from 15:30 to 16:30, June 17 (Sat). Presenting authors are requested to stay at their posters during the core times.

予定コース　6月19日
名瀬→大浜海岸→大和村(野生生物保護センター、
オキナワウラジロガシ林)→湯湾岳山頂→住用川マングローブ林→名瀬
鈴木英治らが解説するので、説明は植物中心になります。
　なお、鹿児島への飛行機最終便は19時ですが、東京･大阪方面の飛行機便は昼過ぎが最終なので、ご参加の方は月曜も奄美に宿泊されるか、夜9時過ぎ出発の鹿児島行きの船を利用する予定でお考え下さい。		 Visit Sites
Naze→Ohama coast→Yamato Village (Animal Wildlife Center, Quercus amam miyagii forest)→Mt. Yuwan→Mangrove forest in Sumiyo River→Naze.
Eizi Suzuki (Plant ecologist) and others will explain the vegetation etc.
　Because we will return at evening of 19June, you need stay in Amami oshima on 19 June to return home city, or get on midnight ship to Kagoshima city.

　参加の決定
中型マイクロバス1〜2台を使って行い、先着順で20名前後または40名前後の方を受け付けて実施します。
参加の可否はメールで5月初めまでにお知らせします。		 Participation
Because of transportation capacity, 20 or 40 participants will be accepted.
We inform the results until early of May.

一人約4,000円の予定ですが、
　参加人数確定後正確な料金を連絡いたします。

　注意･持ち物
大和村のオキナワウラジロガシ林、湯湾岳はそれぞれ30分〜１時間ほど歩きます。歩道は明瞭で歩きやすいですが、ハブも時々いるので、ご注意ください。雨具をご持参下さい。		 Caution
We will walk half - 1 hour to visit Quercus forest in Yamato and Mt. Yuwan. The trail is clear but we sometime encounter poisonous snake. You need rain wear.
