1) Research on the Influence of Globalization and Global Warming on Life in Pohnpei

    @@@@Globalization and global warming are affecting peoplefs lives on this planet in many significant ways. Because of their small size and delicate ecology, islands are especially affected by large processes. For example, global warming leads temperature increase which cause the sea to rise. Low lying land is particularly vulnerable to a rise in sea level. There are many low lying islands and atolls in the Pacific. To improve the situation, we should first learn the specific details of the threat facing a particular island or atoll, and peoplefs understanding of their predicament.

    This research is aimed to study how globalization and global warming affect life on Pohnpei. To study these two processes, we will do several researches.
